'Next Generation' about to Become 'Next Generation 2.0'

G4, the station that updated the original "Star Trek," now is going to air episodes of the first spin-off with a bunch of interactive features.
While the episode is running in part of the screen, the rest will be showing trivia and viewer comments; tracking such statistics as how many times people do the "Picard Manuever" of pulling down their uniform tops and covering the "Spock Market," which measures the worth of characters and concepts.

I was interested in the original 2.0, but quickly got overwhelmed and annoyed because there just was too much stuff cluttering the screen. Most of it just didn't need to be there.

Maybe they can correct some of that, and maybe they can't. Maybe they'll have more interesting trivia, maybe they won't.

Whatever happens, we'll always have the DVDs.
