February TV To Watch Out For
Here's a look at some of the key debuts and finales heading our way in February. Set your VCRs and TiVos! (All times E/P).
Feb. 1:
The Super Bowl is going to be on NBC this year. In case you're not a Springsteen fan, ABC is going to feature the Wipe Out Bowl at halftime.
"The Office" will get the chance to draw in new fans with a double episode following the big game. Jack Black and Jessica Alba guest-star.
Feb. 2:
NBC has new episodes of "Chuck," "Heroes" and "Medium" at 8, 9 and 10 p.m. "Chuck" is going to be in 3D. "Heroes" is going to be the show's fourth chapter, "Fugitives," in which many of the heroes are going to be on the run from a Nathan-instigated crackdown. And on "Medium," Allison helps solve the murder of her boss's friend's sister.
Feb. 3:
MTV airs the finale of "A Double Shot of Love" at 10 p.m. How do two bisexual identical twins decide to pick the boy/girl of their dreams? Tentatively, I'm scheduled to talk to them and find out.
Feb. 4:
NBC's "Life" has its winter launch at 9 p.m.
"Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns" wraps up its first season at 10:30 p.m.
Feb. 8:
CBS airs the Grammys at 8 p.m.
NBC has the Pro Bowl at 4:30 p.m. and the miniseries "xiii" at 9 p.m. striving to be the first entertainment based in part on a video game that isn't that bad.
Feb. 9:
USA goes to the dogs with the 133rd Westminister Kennel Dog Show at 8 p.m., concluding on the 10th.
Feb. 12:
"Survivor" launches its 18th season on CBS at 8 p.m.
FOX airs the NAACP Image Awards at 8 p.m.
"Millionaire Matchmaker" begins its second season on Bravo at 10 p.m.
Feb. 13:
Joss Whedon's new series "Dollhouse" has a 9 p.m. start on FOX. It stars Eliza Dushku as a woman whose personality can be overwritten to be the perfect anything. It follows a new "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles."
Feb. 15:
While CBS kicks off the latest installment of "The Amazing Race" at 8 p.m., HBO has its "Eastbound & Down" begin at 10:30 p.m.
Feb. 17:
Bravo ends another season of "Real Housewives of Orange County" at 10 p.m., and then ushers in the "Real Housewives of New York City" at 11 p.m.
Feb. 20:
The end of the first season of "13: Fear Is Real" comes to the CW at 9. even as USA has "Monk" and "Psych" finish up on USA at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.
HBO has a new season of "Real Time with Bill Maher" at 11 p.m.
Feb. 22:
It's Oscar time! ABC has the red carpet special at 8 p.m., with the main event coming at 8:30 p.m.
Feb. 25
Tonight marks the season premiere of the 12th cycle of "America's Next Top Model" and the finale of the current season of "Top Chef."
Feb. 26:
HBO has a special "The Black List: Volume Two," premiering at 8 p.m.
