Let the Insanity Begin: Bachelor Jason Says he's Engaged
Well, we've got less than a month to go until a new season of "The Bachelor" is upon us, and things are already getting started. I'm sure you all remember Jason Mesnick, a.k.a. The Guy DeAnna Didn't Pick (And Also Didn't Leave So Heartbroken He Made An Ass of Himself on YouTube). Jason says he's in love...and he's getting married! People has the story:
"An outpouring of support from fans and family helped convince the divorced Mesnick to take another chance at finding love in front of the cameras.
'I don’t want to be by myself,' Mesnick says. 'I’m ready for a relationship and a family.'
That family includes Ty, Mesnick’s 3-year-old son from his first marriage. Mesnick says that the woman of his dreams has to understand that falling in love with him also means connecting with Ty.
'I was not looking for a mom,' he says. 'I was looking for a partner for me and a mentor and a friend to Ty.'"
Oh, goodness. Does anyone think the fact that Jason's got a little boy increases his odds of having his engagement work out just a little? No? You guys are so cynical!
