Photo of Kevin Smith by Albert Ortega/WireImage.com "Clerks" filmmaker Kevin Smith has dabbled in TV occasionally (remember his cartoon "Clerks" series and his guest gig on "Degrassi"?), but he's all in on the CW pilot "Reaper." Production Weekly reports that Smith will direct the dark dramedy pilot, about a 21-year-old slacker who has to work for the devil--really, Satan himself--after he finds out that his parents sold his soul to the Devil when he was born.

Doesn't sound a typical CW show, but it does sound potentially fun, especially with Smith's wicked sense of humor steering it, no?
